I picked Patriot Roofing to reroof my house over other two companies because I was impressed with the detailed investigation and presentation of the problem leak and the proposed solution. The looseleaf binder proposal had photos, 19-item scope of work, specifications, job overview, material details, specific pricing, terms-and-conditions, contract check list, interior/exterior photos, and approvals by Certainteed as shingle master, BBB and Angie's List. And that was just the proposal which read more like an airplane spec list than a proposal to reroof my simple, 26-year-old, 1,000-square-foot asphalt shingle roof. Everything that Patriot promised, it delivered: temporary repair for the leak, hard-working and respectful work crew, inspections for the work, clean-up around the house, plant protection and "exit interview" with detailed explanation of the warranty. The price was a bit higher than the other two companies, but worth the peace of mind that my new roof was built of super materials, quality technique and good workmanship.
It’s no surprise that preparing your home for rain is of utmost importance. However, many of us fail to think of the necessary preparations until the rain begins and by then we may already be experiencing property damage due to weather.
